Description
Provides inpatient mental health care. Short-term, crisis care psychiatric hospitalization is provided for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), suicidal thoughts, and other mental illness. Stabilization of the presenting psychiatric crisis is followed by a collaborative discharge plan using supportive outpatient services.
Specialized Programs include: Child and Adolescent, Adult, Women's and Men's Programming, Dual Diagnosis/MICA Treatment (Mentally Ill Chemically Addicted), Holistic Treatment Options (Yoga, Massage, Tai-Chi, Drumming, Pastoral Care), Alternative Therapies and Support (Pet Therapy, Art Therapy, Peer Support, etc) and more.
In addition, also offers an Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) program which provides safe, evidence-based treatment for severe mental health conditions. Hours
Admissions accepted 7 days a week: Monday-Friday, 7am-11pm; Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm.
Eligibility
Individuals ages 6 and up in need of psychiatric crisis stabilization residing in Western and Central New York.
Intake Process
Call the Admissions Department for an immediate phone assessment. Does not provide walk-in psychiatric evaluations.
Program Fees
Accepts Medicare, Managed Medicaid (some restrictions may apply), and most insurance plans are accepted.
