Description
Provides alcohol and substance abuse awareness, prevention education, and intervention programs. Evidence-based prevention programs are available for students in elementary, middle, and high school. Works with families and children living in chemically dependent households. Provides one-on-one educational sessions and family support resources for youth and adults.
Offers alcohol/substance abuse and problem gambling training for professional development and certification to individuals, agencies, and organizations to positively impact beliefs, perceptions, and behaviors about substance abuse and addiction. These events may take the form of public presentations, in-service workshops, workplace training, or on-site training to address the interest and needs of the group. Topics available for training events include issues regarding substance abuse, compulsive gambling, and addictions prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery. These training events can span from 1 hour to 18 hour presentations.

Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
Eligibility
For individuals of all ages, including children, youth, parents, school faculty, those affected by chemical dependency and/or compulsive gambling, local organizations, and the community-at-large.
Training events are available for human service agencies, family services, health care agencies, education organizations, child care workers, law enforcement, the judicial system, business and industry, and the community at large.
