In Person Crisis Intervention, Mental Health Crisis Lines

Description
Provides around-the-clock support and services to youth in crisis under the age of 18 and their families or caretakers. Mental health professionals will answer questions and concerns by phone and/or meeting with a youth and their parent/caretaker in their community or home. Program is meant to support families in resolving crisis situations in the home or community and help prevent future crises. An effective crisis plan will be developed with the family.

Hours
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Eligibility
Open to parents, caregivers, youth, service providers, or any person in the community who is concerned about a youth or family in crisis; serves youth under 18 years old.

Service Area: Erie County.

Call hotline at 716-882-4357; will be answered by professional staff who will determine the best way to help in the needed time frame.
