Description
Non-profit organization headquartered in Buffalo whose mission is to help families, schools and communities raise children to become responsible and successful adults.

Provides a Family Support Line providing advice and assistance for parents with stress management, positive discipline techniques, child motivation strategies, and anything else related to parenting.

Provides year-round parenting education and support through a variety of programs including:

- Ready, Set, Parent: Parenting classes in three age-appropriate areas: Infants and Toddlers, Young Children, and Young Adolescents.

- Families in Transition: Parenting classes for families facing challenges such as substance abuse, mental health concerns, domestic violence, or custody issues that hinder their ability to be effective parents. Meets requirements for court or preventive services.

- Incredible Years - Parents and Babies: Evidence-based program for parents teaching ways to promote baby's social, emotional and language development.

- Just for Teens: Parenting and life skills program for pregnant and parenting teens that fosters social-emotional development, self-esteem, and parenting skills.

- Ready, Set, Read: Family series that emphasizes the parent's opportunity to enhance learning and development and support their child's reading through simple activities, regardless of the parent's education and literacy level.

- Storytime: Literacy lessons based on universally accepted teaching methods incorporated into a number of themed interactive experiences for both parents and their children.

- Car Seat Safety: Offers car seat safety classes, inspections (by appointment), and car seat safety events throughout the year.

Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

Parents and/or caregivers of children.

Service Area: Cattaraugus, Erie, & Niagara Counties.
