Description
A peer-driven advocacy agency that assists people with mental health issues to improve their lives through peer mentoring. Everyone who works at the Mental Health Peer Connection has lived experience with mental health issues.

Services include:

Advocacy: Assists those who need assistance with being heard in regards to issues related to public entities, housing, mental health treatment providers, etc.

Benefits Advisement: Assists individuals with mental health disabilities maximize community resources and apply for public benefits available to them.

Employment Services: Assists individuals with mental health issues to obtain and maintain real employment in their community.

Life Coaching: Assists those struggling with mental health issues to address barriers that may hinder community living.

Support Groups: A variety of mental health related support groups are available; call to inquire about specific groups.

Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm, with flexibility.

Eligibility
Individuals 18 and older dealing with mental health issues.

Service Area: Erie County.
